Identity Within the Flowers Vase
This work reflects a scene where the boundaries between nature and humanity blur. On the front, the portrait of a tiger in a suit merges the raw power of the wild with the constructed symbols of civilization. The tiger’s gaze establishes a direct connection with the viewer, evoking dignity, strength, yet also fragility.
On the reverse side, a headless tiger body appears among the flowers, symbolizing both incompleteness and cyclicality. With neither a clear beginning nor an end, this figure transcends identity, becoming an in between existence of human and nature. The flowers and golden patterns echo both the ephemerality and the grandeur of life.
Through these contrasts, the piece questions the fragility behind power, the layered nature of identity, and the eternal cycle of existence.
